paper clips

Does anyone have any idea what HAPPENS to paper clips? I buy boxes & boxes & they all vanish. Zap! Conversely, wire clothes hangers propagate in closets even when I’m 100% sure I replaced them with cloth covered. Just a “silly” question for a change. I wondered if I’m the only one who CAN NEVER find a paper clip when I need it. Where DO they all go?
I LOVE the answers! The same thing happens with my cigarette lighters, & I find them all in one place, as if they’d gotten together in one place for a party. (I didn’t do it!) Whimsical, wonderful answers! I wish I could give best answer to EVERYBODY. Thank you so much–boggles my my mind to even think of who to choose, so I’ll leave this open for a bit! (Not that it will get any easier.) What a bunch of fantastic people.

I Cant remember what my combo for my master combo lock is so is there an easy way to pick it with a set of household tools (paper clips, safety pins etc)

I am thinking of pasting paper clips that i have moulded into letters onto an acrylic sheet which is transparent in colour. in case you dont know what it is, its surface is like plastic.

I moulded the paper clips into letters and i made it as flat as possible. Therefore there might be some bumps here and there.

What i need is a glue that is cheap, white or almost transparent and is able to create a long-lasting and strong bond between the paper clip material with the acrylic sheet.

What is the best glue to bond the metal material of paper clips with the acrylic sheets?

I just threw away about 30 useless broken paper clips. I may raid the supply room and go for 30 more.
